North Tonawanda History Museum receives Niederlander Award

The North Tonawanda History Museum received the 2004 Daniel B. Niederlander Award from the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society in ceremonies at Kleinhans Music Hall on October 12. The award recognized the museum as an emerging organization which has had noteworthy accomplishments in programming of local history in the last year. The North Tonawanda History Museum joins a distinguished group of organizations recognized in this way over the past thirty years.

The North Tonawanda History Museum is establishing temporary administrative offices and cataloguing and storage space in facilities in the historic original Adams Bakery building at 314 Oliver Street , courtesy of North Tonawanda businessman, David Zobrist, owner of Awnings Plus. Mailing address continues at 195 Goundry Street at present.
