How You Can Help

Letters & Comments from Volunteers and Prospective Volunteers

From: Priscilla Dolling - Niagara County RSVP Director at the Health Association of Niagara County, Inc. (HANCI) - August 25, 2005

Dear RSVP Station:

On behalf of the 766 members of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in Niagara County, I sincerely thank you for attending our Recognition Luncheon and for doing the tribute to the volunteers on behalf of the stations.  The North Tonawanda History Museum display added greatly to the festive mood of the event and was enjoyed by all!

I would also like to thank you for your $25 sponsorship of our Recognition Luncheon.  In addition to the announcement of your sponsorship, you were acknowledged in the program booklet by approximately 400 seniors and community leaders.

Again, I thank you for your kind support of RSVP.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you sincerely for leading the Tribute on Behalf of the Stations at the RSVP Recognition Luncheon on August 18.  Thank you for the wonderful display from the North Tonawanda History Museum.

Thanks to your efforts, the luncheon was a big success.  All of us are grateful for the role you played in making that happen.

Again, thank you for your continued efforts on behalf of RSVP.

RSVP Volunteers - Making History in Niagara County

From:
Christopher T. Lane - President, CTL/cf - August 18, 2004

Dear Donna:

Thank you very much for the honor of being named an Honorary Charter Life Member of the North Tonawanda History Museum.

I understand things are progressing smoothly for the museum. The hard work of you and others will be well worth the effort once the museum is opened for the public to enjoy the rich history of this city.

Thank you again for this honor and congratulations on your continuing progress in moving this project forward. As always, please do not hesitate to contact me if you should need any additional assistance in making this dream a reality.

Sincerely,

From: Steve Litwin - Binghamton, NY - June 9, 2004

"To be granted Honorary Charter Life Membership in the North Tonawanda History Museum is an honor that is beyond anything I expected.  Just to be a contributor, promotor and supporter of the North Tonawanda History Museum is gratifying in itself for me.

North Tonawanda, my birth town, is more than just that to me.  It's a city filled with family, friends, memories and history.  From the days of my youth, living on Oliver Street, to the Avenues populated with many relatives and friends, to the memories of those truly important times of my daily life growing up, NT holds a special place in my heart.

To be able to help preserve and publicize the history of this unique city is reward enough for me, but I truly appreciate this Honorary Charter Life Membership."
