Artist's Renderings of Project
Artist's Concept Drawings by Hadley Exhibits, Inc.

Artist's rendering of exhibit area of the future Museum, demonstrating how different eras and different ethnic backgrounds of families and their living quarters, will be displayed in the permanent Museum. Exhibits will be created as well as "experience units" so that you may walk into a room and feel that you have entered the period or place the exhibit is focused on.

Artist's rendering of the interior of a packet boat and interactive exhibits as planned for the new Museum. Additional interactives will provide the experience of learning how industries operated and will incude interactive ethnic heritage exhibits.

Artist's rendering of a simulated ride down the Erie Canal. There will be a ride in a packet boat in the 19th century, in a Richardson cruiser in the 20th century, a carriage ride with a wealthy lumber baron down Goundry Street in the 19th century and returning in the 20th with him in his Pierce Arrow, and other simulated rides inside the future Museum, with history being told through the windows.

Artist's rendering of the interior of the Twin Cities Welcome Center. The wall however, will be perpendicular rather than a long wall, with a map of the City of North Tonawanda and the City of Tonawanda on the right, and on the back wall, a map of Niagara County. Photos of individual attractions will be at the appropriate places on the maps and audio and video recordings about the sites will be accessible to visitors, along with brochures and area maps--and samples of area products.

The snack bar area of the Lumber City History Center will be a replica of the interior of the long beloved Sugar Bowl soda fountain and candy shop. It will be accessible from the Manhattan Street entrance and through the North Tonawanda History Museum.

A simulated ride on a train in the 19th century up Webster Street, with the return ride on a trolley in the 20th century.
