The Museum's tables in front of Greater Buffalo Savings Bank at 107 Main Street, our 4th year of participating in Winter Walk. We also had a booth in front of Buffalo Suzuki Strings Musical Arts Center at 4 Webster Street, at which Diane Meholick autographed copies of her three books, including her new collection of short stories, "Buffalo Stories."
Dal Giuliani, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of the North Tonawanda office of Greater Buffalo Savings Bank chats with Museum volunteer Danielle Oney as they wait for Winter Walk to begin. Danielle did free face painting for visitors to the bank. Part of the Museum's "Why Archives Matter" display is visible in the background, a joint project of the Upstate History Alliance and the North Tonawanda History Museum. The exhibit was on display in the North Tonawanda Public Library during November and in the bank lobby during December.
Some of the children who came for face painting.
Steve Ash, always there when we need him.....the Museum booth visible in the background, set up with Steve's assistance, in front of Buffalo Suzuki Strings Musical Arts Center.
Although the photographer (Museum Director Donna Neal) was too short to get all of these two great volunteers in the photo, this was Lou Ann Rossi and Diane Meholick....Sorry, ladies!
