Donna Neal receives Organizational Award of Merit from the Western New York Association of Historical Agencies.  Melissa Dunlap, Director of the Niagara County Historical Society, has just presented the award, and Georgianne Bowman, Town and Village of North Collins Historian took the photo to capture the event.  Seated at the right is Lynn Beman, Director of the new disABILITY Museum, formerly long-time Director of the Amherst Museum.  Melissa and Lynn have been very helpful to the North Tonawanda History Museum in getting started. The award is for the Historic Treasures Tour 2005 and the guidebook we created for the tour which is now available as a self-guided walking/driving tour guidebook.  The award was presented during the WNYAHA Annual Meeting at Genesee Community College in Batavia.
