Tour of 184 Sweeney Street - March 16, 2005

The building was a power house and trolley barn.

The history connected with this building is phenomenal.  Before it was built in 1895, it was the site of a series of shingle mills, the last of which was the J. S. Bliss shingle mill, the second largest producers of wood shingles in the world in the 1890's.
