1st Annual Ethnic Heritage Night & 25th Anniversary of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum - October 19, 2004

Museum Directors Donna Zellner Neal of the North Tonawanda History Museum and Gina Beam of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum show off the anniversary cake donated by Budwey's bakery. Frank Budwey is a Charter Honorary Life Member of the North Tonawanda History Museum for his solid support from the beginning of our effort to start a museum.

North Tonawanda History Museum President Cynthia Fredricks reads a proclamation from Mayor David Burgio in honor of the 25th anniversary of the Carrousel Society of the Niagara Frontier, as the Carrousel Society's Board President Doug Bathke listens. North Tonawanda History Museum Director Donna Zellner Neal holds a proclamation from the Niagara County Legislature which was also presented to Carrousel Society representatives.

Carrousel Society Board member Ed Janulionis tells of the grassroots effort to create the Carrousel Society of the Niagara Frontier and the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum. Carrousel Society President, Doug Bathke listens. The evening was recorded as part of the North Tonawanda History Museum's oral history program by Charter Museum member and volunteer Jason Law. Museum meetings are held in the DeGraff Community Center at 139 Division Street.
