Three Wurlitzer company officials pose for a photograph by one of the fountains on the spacious grounds which were maintained by a full-time gardening staff. In the center is Homer Capehart. Capehart later served as a U.S. Senator from Indiana. At the time this photo was taken in the late 1930's, the North Tonawanda Wurlitzer plant employed nearly 1,000 workers and the Wurlitzer Company was considered the largest manufacturer of quality musical instruments in the world.
