Twin City Auto Co. was located on the west side of Main Street between Tremont and Goundry Streets when this photo was taken in 1931. The road was still paved with brick. Roy Arenz, manager of the Twin City Auto Co. presents the title for the Buick to one of the buyers, a performing group of "little people." The car had been specially tailored for the buyers, raising the seats, extending the pedals, and making several other adjustments so that the performers could drive from city to city in both comfort and style. Mr. Arenz was later the owner of the Cadillac and Pontiac dealerships in the Tonawandas. |
