North Tonawanda Drug Store

Arthur Fries drug store at Payne Avenue and Schenck Street in 1912. Fries also operated a drug store at Main and South Niagara Streets in the City of Tonawanda. He later became Erie County Treasurer. At the left, you may be able to make out a hitching post and a fire hydrant. There are trolley tracks on Payne Avenue in front of the store.
