The Cudak Family

The Cudak Family came to the United States in the late 1800's from Austria-Hungary. Seated are Eva Mozdierz Cudak and Joseph Cudak, Sr. Standing left to right are Rose Cudak, Frank Cudak, Jr., Mary Cudak, and Joseph Cudak. The photo was taken in Florida, New York, where the family had a farm. Later, they moved to New Jersey and finally to Brooklyn. Mary Cudak married Lewis A. Keppen in 1936 and moved to the Tonawandas. Mary is the mother of Donna Keppen Zellner Neal. Rose Cudak married John Czado and remained in Brooklyn all her life. Joseph served in the US Army during World War II and moved to Nebraska after marrying. Frank, Jr. lived in Brooklyn all of his life. |
