Confer Plastics, Inc.
BACKGROUND In 1973, Ray Confer and his son Doug opened a small blow molding shop in North Tonawanda, NY. With an emphasis on quality production, innovative engineering and customer service Confer Plastics quickly developed a fine reputation. In 1986, due to an expanded customer base and capital reinvestment into larger equipment, Confer Plastics outgrew its facility and moved across town to its current location. In 2005 Confer purchased a second facility – a 114,000 sq. ft complex minutes away in Wheatfield – that serves as the company's warehousing and distribution center. Confer Plastics has a defined two-part business mix. For our proprietary line we offer a variety of products for the pool, spa, and patio markets. The other half of our business constitutes custom blow molding whereby we manufacturer a variety of made-to-order items for numerous industries and markets. Customers from across the country – and even around the world – have come to Confer Plastics for its vast experience, excellent quality, unyielding service, and unmatched capabilities. Over thirty years of successful business has not yielded complacency for Confer Plastics. If anything, it has made us hungrier. The entire Confer Plastics family, from our machine operators to our president, strive to be recognized as the premier large parts blow molder, offering to our customers an incomparable manufacturing experience...proudly made in the USA.
