Buffalo Pumps

Buffalo Pumps, Inc. 874 Oliver St - Established in 1887

Previously known as Buffalo Forge.  Celebrated 100th anniversary as Buffalo Forge in 1978. Buffalo Pumps, Inc. has been making quality centrifugal pumps for more than a century. Commercial use dates back to the company's founding in 1887 and marine applications predate World War 1. While the defense market has been a significant segment of their business, commercial pumps have been the mainstay of the operation. They have been an OEM supplier in the refrigeration, paper and lube oil markets for companies such as General Electric, Westinghouse, Carrier and Solar Turbines for over two decades. In addition, their canned pump technology has long been recognized as the most advanced in the industry. The company has overhaul capabilities to reproduce parts that were originally fabricated 40-50 years ago. Because of advances in technology, replacement parts are often superior to the originals.
