An aerial view in recent times of the City of Tonawanda, left, North Tonawanda at right, and Tonawanda Island at the top right. Bridges over the Erie Canal from the top (west) are the Seymour Street Bridge connecting Tonawanda's Seymour Street with River Road in North Tonawanda; the Renaissance Bridge connecting Tonawanda's Main Street with North Tonawanda's Webster Street; the Delaware Bridge connecting Tonawanda's Delaware Street with North Tonawanda's Main Street; and the cantilever railroad bridge near Oliver Street which crosses the Canal to the Gastown section of Tonawanda.

Seymour Street bridge had been constructed connecting Seymour Street in Tonawanda with River Road in North Tonawanda. Bascule Bridge, Delaware Bridge, and the bridge to Gastown over Ellicott Creek can be seen. Manhattan Street parking lot now in existence.
