862 Oliver Street in 2006. This was the family home of Stanislaw Wilczek, local barber, who served in Haller's Blue Army during World War I. Wilczek joined Haller's Army at the age of 17. His daughter, Alfreda, left North Tonawanda and is now known as Alfreda Slominski, who spent decades in public service in and for Buffalo and Erie County. |
