65 Roncroff Drive

The developer's home - Burton Croff built this as his own home at the corner of Sweeney Street. He originally owned the land all the way through to Wright Avenue, but developed from Sweeney Street through to East Goundry Street before his untimely death at the age of 43 in October 1949.

Croff's widow attempted to complete the development after his death. A woman in business was not routine in those days and within a few years she had sold off the remaining land, mainly to Sam D'Angelo. The street is named for their son, Ron.

The home is so long it is difficult to get it all into one photo.

Taken from across the street.
