Taking a Leadership Role

The North Tonawanda History Museum is proud to be a member of the Cultural Alliance of Niagara, promoting Niagara County arts and cultural organizations as tourist, recreational, and educational destinations to the world.  We are also proud members of the Downtown Merchants Association of North Tonawanda, the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas (taking an active role on the Tourism Committee), Canal Fest of the Tonawandas, the Niagara County Federation of Historical Societies, the Erie County Historical Federation, Western New York Association of Historical Agencies, Upstate History Alliance, the American Association for State & Local History.  We were the community lead for the Tonawandas of Doors Open Niagara 2005 and 2006.
